And, Colorado received above average ratings for all of these criteria, in addition to offering some of the best outdoor activity options in the country. With the Rocky Mountains as your playground, camping, hiking, biking and fishing opportunities are endless in the summer, while world-class skiing and snowshoeing are plentiful for winter outdoor enthusiasts. It’s no wonder that the Gallup-Healthways survey found that the well-being of Colorado residents ranks among the highest in the nation.
