Today the news got even better. RTD Announced that the new light rail line to Golden will be opening 8 months early. The line starts at Denver's Union Station, travels through parts of Denver, Lakewood and stops at the Jefferson County Government Center in Golden. The line is expected to serve an estimated 19,300 riders per weekday and will run every five minutes along most of the line during peak hours.
