The 13th Floor, located at 4120 Brighton Blvd. in Denver is home to the cities most sought after monsters and zombies. The experience takes you through a zombie infested property, executed with a stunning apocalyptic aesthetic. Amenities include blood-stained wood floors, severed limbs at every turn and windows boarded with the finest grade plywood. The 13th Floor is sure to entertain, a truly terrifying and fun experience.

Just a few miles away, The Asylum is a look inside the ghastly Gordon Cottingham's Hospital for the mentally insane. It was even featured on Travel Channel's “America's Scariest Halloween Attractions.” Located at 6100 E. 39th Ave, its second year in the indoor location will bring many new scares.

New Denver Union Station Hotel is on Track

If you have been traveling in and around Riverfront Park, Lower Downtown, or Ball Park you might have noticed that things are really happening in the new Denver Union Station Project.

Office buildings, light rail, and more has been under rapid development in Denver’s newest neighborhood.  In the center of everything, the historic Denver Union Station finally got word that it’s federal hurdles for approval look to be resolved.

The historic train center that Downtown Denver loft and condo owners love to admire is being remodeled into a new Hotel and transit center. Union Station Alliance, the development team who won this monumental Denver project, had earlier submitted a proposal that did not satisfy the National Parks Service to quality for a historic preservation certification.

We love the historical preservation of Denver Union Station.  For the developer, the historic preservation meant the project wasn’t eligible for a federal 20 percent investment tax credit.

That’s a pretty big deal.

Fortunately, the Union Station Alliance went back and reworked their design which it appears has meet the National Parks requirements.

Union Station Neighborhood development is one of the largest transit oriented development projects in the country.  Nestled between the hip and trendy towers of Riverfront Park and the historic loft and conversion projects of LoDo, it’s in the heart of everything.

But our favorite component may be the walkscore and transportation oriented benefits that Denver Union Station creates for it’s future residents and neighbors.  The Union Station light rail station will be the hub of Denver’s light rail system while also channeling both the existing 16th street and future 18th street bus shuttles.

Restaurants, amenities, and transportation are just a few reasons why residents of Denver lofts and condos love their location.  To learn more about these exciting projects or any of our amazing Downtown Denver neighborhoods please contact anyone on the New Era Realty team today.

Wine of the Week- Durigutti Malbec

Welcome to our very first Amendment XXI wine review of the bottle we will be giving away this coming Friday, October 5th, to one lucky Facebook Fan.

From Durigutti Vineyards comes this week's wine selection, the Durigutti Malbec. Malbecs are mid-bodied red wines most popular in France and Argentina. This particular varietal has been a staple at Amendment XXI from day one.

The Malbec is a black grape that originated from the Bordeaux region of France, and made it to South America in the mid 19th century. Since then, the grape has been thriving in the region. This particular Malbec is from Argentina, where the Durigutti Vineyards are. The high altitude that the gapes are grown at gives them a competently different flavor profile than the French varieties.

Leo Bortolotto, proprietor of Amendment XXI Wines describes the Duriguitti Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina as being, "a great value and delivers everything you would expect from a quality Malbec. Juicy blackberry fruit mingles elegantly with toasty oak, enveloped by a slight hint of vanilla. Your palate will love this wine with roasted lamb, mushrooms, grilled steak, and empanadas."

Leo is our wine connoisseur who we will be interviewing every week as he helps us identify a great wine for our Facebook Fans to take home.

In order to obtain this great wine for FREE, all you need to do is sign up here: http://bit.ly/QnqaJs. Don't despair if you don't win, because your name stays in the pool until you do win!  That's right, you don't have to come back week after week to register.
