Thanks again to everyone who has been entering our Uncorked in Lohi wine giveaway.  This week’s winner is Christy Pearce, who won the “Locations Spain” red blend.  Christy we would love to hear your review of the wine, write us on facebook.

Next week we will be giving away the Rotllan Torra Priorat, also out ofSpain.

“Rotllan Torra Priorat hails from the small Spanish region, of the same name.  This wine-making area is found high in the mountains of easternSpain, making it difficult for many Priorats to reach the marketplace.  This expression of Priorat offers dark cherry fruit and hints of black licorice.  Textured with silky tannins, this red blend is sure to please wine drinkers who enjoy big reds."

This is a full bodied, heavier red blend, 35% Garnacha, 35% Mazuelo, and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.  Aged in American oak for 12 months, it is well balanced with sweet tannic notes and a velvety mid palate.

If this sounds like something up your flavor alley, enter for a chance to win!  Remember that winners are chosen every Friday.  Just in case you don’t win, our friends at Amendment XXI Wines   are always helpful in recommending an excellent bottle of wine.

Good Luck Everyone!
