The difference being that 14th Street contains some of Denver’s biggest attractions including:

9) There are also several other new developments underway in the area including the new Embassy Suites Hotel and a Hilton Garden Inn.
Improvements to the street itself include widening sidewalks to accommodate easier flow of foot traffic and space for outdoor restaurant patios including Table Six which will be at street level in SPIRE. A bike lane will be added so SPIRE Denver residents can hop on their bikes from the front door and safely travel to work or nearby bike trails. 200 trees, flower planters, additional parking capacity and more will make 14th Street similar to the Miracle Mile in Chicago (well maybe we aren’t quite there yet and we know it isn’t quite a mile, but we are certainly headed in the right direction!).
